5 time Grammy Nominee KARRIN ALLYSON
a "singer with a feline touch and impeccable intonation.” —NY Times

Karrin Allyson is an internationally acclaimed singer, pianist, composer, teacher, and bandleader. She is noted for her warm and exciting sound, and large breadth of repertoire, which embraces The Great American Songbook, Brazilian Bossa Nova, French Chansons and the great composers. She has an uncanny ability to ‘get inside’ a lyric — to take over a song and reshape it into something magical while accompanying herself on the piano.

“Word to the wise: Always see Karrin Allyson when she comes to town. She is a delight.” —Scott Yanow, JAZZ AROUND TOWN, December, 2021

Straight from a 5 night/10 show appearance at Birdland Jazz Club in New York City, Karrin Allyson will be performing at The Tuscan Room with bassist Tim Emmons. Tim Emmons is a veteran of more than 300 film, record and television scores including Mission: Impossible, and the Wedding Planner. He has performed live with Liza Minelli and Natalie Cole. He’s recorded with Stevie Wonder and Barbara Streisand.

Allyson’s songs “shimmer with tender vibrancy.” —Christopher Loudon, VOX

Judy Carmichael

Arturo Sandoval

Count Basie nicknamed Judy Carmichael “Stride.” George Shearing called her “Miss Strideville.” That’s because, when it comes to stride pianists, Judy is one of the very best. Her musical passion is unbridled, she’s got wit, virtuosity and warmth to match and she sings too! Joining Judy will be versatile guitarist Jim Greeninger who studied with Segovia.

Don Heckman, reviewing one of Judy’s shows for The International Review of Music wrote, "She was as improvisationally inventive with words as she was with her piano. A helluva performance, on all counts. Instrumentally exciting, vocally engaging, musically compelling and marvelously…ENTERTAINING!"

Plan to be marvelously entertained!
